oil leak

Post by 90volts »

at the senders.vdo senders. never had a problem with oil leaks before. now that i have the senders in it leaks. i have them attached where the stock oil press sender went. got a 't' with the temp coming out one side and the press out the other. do they need metal to metal contact or can i put a plumbers tape or something on them to seal it up some?

I wouldn't use teflon tape, it fouls up the oil relief valves. Apply some teflon thread sealent paste to the threads. It should seal it up.
