I'm going to switch out my dual Kadron's to dual Weber IDF 40's. They are on a Manxter with a 1915cc motor and the cam is mild. Recommendations: Spanish Webers? EMPI HPMX? or try the new EMPI "D" series? I'm going to go brand new verses used/rebuilt. Also from which vendor?
Thanks in advance, Robert
Carb replacement questions
Re: Carb replacement questions
You will love the change. I had Kadrons car never ran good. My thought was the 40's are one barrel for one cyclinder. If you have one cyclinder better than the other the Kadrons cant tell so one is rich one is lean. As far as tuning i remember the 28 venturies that come stock worked best. CB sells webers and the jet selection will get you running from there the Delorto book will advise you best it very easy read.
