Parting Out '66 Pan

Post by 5150bossman »

I have a '66 pan from our buggy that is rusted out and cracked beyond repair (20 years of "More Smiles Per Mile!"). As I am having a new chassis built, I no longer need the existing pan. If you are in search of something off of a '66 pan, let me know.

The BJ front beam was replaced a few years back and is in very good shape (the old bushings were replaced with new mica bushings at the time). The beam (drum to drum) is solid, and has adjustors on it, along with an early model steering box.
The rear has been changed to IRS, and the torsion housing is still in good shape also.
I have a light weight 3" body lift with reinforcements that is in fair shape along with a pair of under pan channel side stiffeners.

While I won't ship the larger stuff, I am in Ventura County CA, and willing to meet at a reasonable location if you can't make it here.

The VIN itself is NOT available.

PM me if you are interested in something before I list it on the Samba.

Mike
