Windscreen Angle
Fellas; Just back from Iraq, and looking forward to assembling the M2 before final finish. There must be original assembly information regarding the windscreen 'rake' angle. It appears as though it does not follow the lines of the dash, but rather inclined slightly forward. Are the real deal numbers available? VR Iverson

Rick, I know on the siggy Manx there were marks in the body moldings for fitting the roll bar, not sure if the original M2's had these marks,,, but Meyers used to say the windshield and roll bar should be the same rake & height. I think if you can get the roll bar and windshield mocked up and held in place without drilling anything,,, then stand back and view it from a distance, your know when it looks right for you. The windshield frame is quite wide, so can be raked without having to following the dash & hood join. If in doubt, mock it up and post pics before drilling,,, the guys here will vote on it I'm sure. I've seen many buggies over the years with the roll bars looking more like a kids garden swing frame stuck in the back, and windshield frames that seem too raked or too upright,, so its well worth the effort spending some time getting this looking right,, its the 'make or brake' of a good looking buggy IMO.
