Hello, Stephanie and I are not sure if our husbands are still alive, at least we know that they crossed the finish line because we saw a really quick video of them….no signal yesterday so no news. Again, sorry I don’t know how to post picture on the Forum but if you go on the Manx Club Facebook page, you will see that I put a recap of the times for the two days. Don’t shoot the messenger, I only put the same numbers of what we can see on the Website but they are “unofficial classification” and might not be accurate. I am just trying to put both teams together. Hope today they will have signal so we can have news.
Don’t forget to follow them: Norra.com (under tracking, truck, evolution (modern machines), #166 and #302)
Good luck guys!

Okay, I am working at the office today so will be hard to follow them. I don’t have their start time, hope they will let us know before. See below late updates from Vincent:
7:15pm local time: Still working on Tow’d in La Paz. Looking good for start tomorrow. No news on 302 yet – busy with repairs.
8:37pm local time: Tow’d ready for tomorrow. A gears and steering fixed. 302 finished SS2 said it was very rough. Happy we didn’t do it. Turned in our time card so should have an official start time.
The question that I still do not have any answer: Did they change clothes and did they take a shower? Oh yes…hope they were able to sleep a little bit.
You will be able to fine their timing on FB (sorry don't know how to post this here)
Don’t forget to follow them: Norra.com (under tracking, truck, evolution (modern machines), #166 and #302)
Good Luck guys, this is the last day, my fingers and toes are crossed to see both cars at the finish line.

Re: 2017 NORRA Mexican 1000
It was great to talk with and meet so many club members.
Seemed like everyone had a great time even if/when the course ate up an unusual number of tires.
My early bronco team suffered in the tire and rim department an broke a steering box but otherwise generally had a great and uneventful week.
Hope to see everyone and more next year!

Here's a short video of some of the memories I'll keep from this unforgettable trip.

Started a thread for the November SCORE 1000 50th anniversary event.
I'd be very interested in a "pay to play" option if anyone wants to run again.

Re: 2017 NORRA Mexican 1000
I finally sifted through all of the GoPro video we had from the race and my son, Kevin, did a great job editing it together. We didn't get footage for the whole race, (forgot to turn the camera on, batteries ran out), but here are some of the highlights:
Day 1:
https://youtu.be/sx2jAtKkb3U
Day 2:
https://youtu.be/pvNSe1XKyUM
Day 3:
https://youtu.be/nk09KcpqZyM
Day 4:
https://youtu.be/DoqZSGVPjkQ
Day 5:
https://youtu.be/i8Am053ej24
I know it looks like we got passed by a lot of people, but we were second to last to leave the starting line, so somehow we got in front of all those cars.
We had a great time on this race with everyone. The Inchworm (El Gusano) did great with only a broken shock bolt and new points everyday.

El Gusano also made the Day 5 highlight film from NORRA for being the days fastest car in the Pioneer Era:

John, your videos are fantastic. Thank you for sharing. I'm part of a team from the east coast that will be running in 2018 and I'll be "studying" your videos very closelyGotManx wrote:I finally sifted through all of the GoPro video we had from the race and my son, Kevin, did a great job editing it together.
