On a Manx 1, The holes in the body do not line up with the holes in the hood (not a straight line). So what this person did was use 1 inch wide peice of metal to catch the top hood bolt and the body hole. Then weld another 1 inch piece to catch the bottom hood hole. Then used 1 inch tubing to connect the two sides. I thought this was a quick fix for the brace. But that could just be me.
