Baja 1000

Post by steve heckert »

Any one from the N.CA area going down to the 1000? I was suppose to take my Burro to the vintage display and parade to Ensenada but my traveling partener can not go. I would still possibly like to do it but not on my own. Steve Heckert I have the #8 Les Choat Burro.

I thought it would be fun, but not enough time to make plans for me. I talked to my friend in SD about doing it next year, or just go down for the 1,000 and pick a place to watch cars go buy. Also I could not find any info on the SCORE website?????

Can anyone here that went on the 'Manx's To Margaritaville' club run in 98 remember that stop we made on the way back by a picturesque lake??. When we all set off, led by Bruce & Winnie in old quadri we followed down a long & winding road,,, kind of white sand running through a wooded area,,,,, lots of side-ways action :driving:... Anyone know the name of that lake or area?
