We're still knee deep in snow up here in Montreal with this winter that will not end. It goes without saying that both buggies are still in storage but France and I still had the opportunity to re-unite for a quick beer with a few friends.
Although no Dune Buggies actually came out for the occasion, we were able to get a few shots of "Flat Buggy" in Farmer John's B-Day occasion!
We met up with Keith, John and Matt at the Intrepid Air & Space museum and I must admit I was a little overwhelmed by the surreal events being portrayed about life on board the Essex class carrier and the re-enactment of the kamikaze attacks. To honor the men that fought and lost their lives on this ship, we only saw it fitting to go have a drink in their honor (and John's B-Day of course) at the Pony Bar in Hell`s Kitchen. We were also happy to have Ron meet us and have a few cold ones with us. Again, flat buggy made a few distinguished appearances.
Here are a few pictures from our week-end.
France & Farmer John
Farmer John & Keith looking out for enemy planes
Flat Buggy plotting out the course to the nearest beach!
Keith shooting a few test round on the 40mm
Keith found the perfect wrench to adjust his dual carburators on his buggy!

Keep calm!
I'm happy!
Flat Buggy on the food truck!
More Flat Buggy on US Postal Mailbox.
The Pony Bar girls wanted in on the action!
The roudy bunch!
Flat Buggy went shopping!
Flat Buggy at the public library
More Flat Buggy!
Oh and we could not come here without the obligatory Statue photo op.
Had a great week-end, thanks to our good friends!

Re: Great week-end south of the border
I found out Vincent & France were in town and was able to set up a last minute meet up of Myself , Keith & Ron with them .
I was able to get some free passes to visit the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier (Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum) ,
the same class of carrier that Bruce was on , anyway while we were there Keith presented them with some trial art work that he had made.
We called it "Flat Buggy" following the theme of Flat Stanley . We started Flat Buggy off on his adventure in NY City
and now he's across the border in Canada where I'm sure Vincent & France will keep us posted on his travels and adventures
with pictures and stories .

Did I hear someone say they were donating a flat buggy for the silent auction at this year's MOTB? smiley: roll
