I have also use the CAT hi heat paint with excellent results. I bought it direct from a CAT dealer. Fram has been tested as one of the worst filters available. Wix, Hastings, Purolator, Motorcraft are all much better. Olli

What I was trying to say was....Not only does the Wix filter out filter the Fram filter, the Wix will not burst like a conventional filter under excessive pressure. My sandrail, Manx and Baja all run about 125psi when the engine is cold and in the 10 years I have been using Wix filters they have never failed. Why pay all that money for the Fram?

If you can't find Wix at your FLAPS, try Napa. As I recall, Napa filters are made by Wix.
