Engine talk

Post by Greg MGM »

In the next couple of months, I'll be replacing the engine in my baja. (My buggy engine is great, luckily) Ive had the same 1835 engine for 23 years, and the reliability has been great. There're some ads for a turn key 1915 in the $2500 range that I can afford. If I go larger than that, can I swap the exhaust from my 1835 onto it? I heard the width is a bit wider. Anyone have a recommendation on a reliable and honest builder to buy from?? I definitely want a turn key, as opposed to a long block, and Id like to get many trouble free years out of my next engine. Thanks guys.
