Here it is the day I bought it for $500. I bought form A guy named Wolf a German car mechanic. He had about 15 German Autos all types stored around his house. His wife said this buggy which was stored out front and could be seen from the street had to go . Image

Mocked up out front for the annual Xmas Picture. How did I get the wife to sit in the back seat? Image Hopefully I will get it on the road this weekend if it stops raining.

Dean, I have followed your post from the begining. That is by far my second favorite body style. You have done it justice and the details look great. Good job and start ripping it up....

The Bounty Hunter is my next Buggy (I might want to finish the Manx first) and your's is making me want one more. Been looking for one for a while the closest I've came is a Deserter GT.

It too is one of my favorite bodies. You've done a great job in building the buggy.

WOW Really Nice Bounty Hunter. You got a very solid looking one for a great price . I would like to have bid on the one listed on ebay recently but 2600 miles is a bit far to run for a pick up just now . You have really transformed yours into a blue jewel. Like your pick of wheels .

There's one on eBay if you don't mind a bit of work...I've seen worse though... :2cents: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dune-Bug ... dZViewItem

The only problem for me with the ebay one, is that it is 2100 miles away.

Victorville is 2100 miles from just about anywhere. He's asking way too much for it though. That buggy needs ALOT of work.

Well back to Dean's car; I have a question does yours have the metal side frames? If it does it is hidden very well.
