I have been running Pacific Customs mirrors and mounting clamps for 3 Summers with absolutely no problems. The P/C clamps I have are 2 pieceand can be put anywhere on the windshield frame (Except the curved areas) then tightened down to clamp onto the frame.

yep, just looked on the site. they show a 2 piece. but its a one piece i recieved. the mirror stalk looks different too. instead of the one open slot there are two. and they've been really helpful with returns in the past.

not! so i guess i will give B&K a call. at least i'll be able to speak to someone there who knows what they are talking about. rather than someone sitting at a computer taking orders that hasn't even seen the product, and probably couldn't even if they wanted to. sorry- lots of bad experiences with vw parts houses.

I just picked up a set like that (except bezel was smooth on the back side)at my local Harley shop. They had all kinds of options that would have worked, but these were the coolest looking and best made. Someone in Korea took a little pride in their work. The set was about $90 the plain ones started at $28 per set.

I think mine were about $60 for the pair with the clamps from P/Customs.

I know I paid too much, but they were shiny and I had to have them... .
