Paint Codes / Mixing Formulas

Post by Gene-C »

Is there a place I can find original codes and mixing formulas for Original Manx dune buggy kit colors? I've seen the colors listed below in a brochure. Were there ever any other colors offered? Yuma Yellow Corinthian White Royal Blue Lime Green Tangerine Red Dark Green Metal Flake: Golden Orange Royal Blue Brilliant Red Fuchsia Emerald Green

The actual metalflakes in powder form are still available... http://www.metalflakecorp.com/index.php I always pressumed the solid color names were just names thought up by Bruce to go with the commonly available colored fiberglass gel-coats he used to mould the bodies in at the time. If you got a good photo of the color you wanted I guess any paint shop could mix it for you. Welcome to our happy band by the way!!!

I spoke with Winnie Meyers a while back about original metal flake size, color codes, and availibility and she recommended the following: http://www.meadowbrookinventions.com/lo ... index.html
