After a 15 month restoration our Tow'd finally see the light of day for the first time. Other than a short list of odds and ends it looks like we will be ready for Lone Pine, we look to meeting some of you there.

Man, your Tow'd is very hot looking. That is exactly what I'd like to do with mine. Did the bumpers come with your Tow'd? I'm looking for a set of bumpers for mine. What wheels and tires are those? I remember you posting the pics of your dash, that car is really clean. I guess you powdercoated the bumpers and rollbar. What kind of cage is that for the rear? For my Tow'd I had to buy a hood but I still don't have the firewall piece. I haven't seen the firewalls advertised in the store. Do you know where to pick the firewall up? Congrats on a great job!
Vealmonkey, I had to make both the front and rear bumpers. The wheels are "BTR"s and the tires are Mickey Thompsons. As far as the firewall, you only need if you are going to run the front fenders.

OUTSTANDING---------------The first ride in my buggy after a two year "labor of love" was complete is still very much fresh in my mind. I hope yours was as stimulating as mine was. It looks like it would be a blast. Congratulations.
THANKS, we have put on a couple of hunderd miles, mostly off road with no real problems (see gallary) and have enjoyed every minute. I am starting to understand why so many people have more than one buggy, after working on it for what seemed like forever I find that I kind of miss having a project (at least one that I want to work on)
