photo bucket
I am using photo bucket. now i have been able to put thumb nails on before but now i am not doing some thing right. Gary
When I post a picture I right click on the picture. The "Properties" box will pop up. Highlight then "cut" the "Location" It should look something like the one below: http://www.diyautotune.com/images/produ ... elay-c.jpg I then click on the "Insert Image" icon then delete the "http//" because it's already in the location you cut from the properties box. Paste your "location" into the window then press OK and it should post the picture
just testing with a picture...hopefully it'll work. So I'm back with an edit. The picture below (from Lone Pine 2008) was hosted on PhotoBucket. to add it, I clicked the "add picture" button (small yellow rectangle) and gave it the url of the picture. I copied and pasted in the area asking for the url. The url should not have the [img]before%20and%20after%20it.%20This%20system%20will%20automatically%20add%20it.%20

When you right click are you talking when it is posted on photobucket? i hightlight it will allow me to copy not cut the location. okay were is the insert image are we talking on the manx club web site. are there certain settings i have to set on my manx page so to speak for this to work. Gary
Gary, Let me see if I can help you post pictures, with pictures I hope this will help you. Bud Step 1: find your picture that you want to post. It has to be in a hosted location (my pictures are on the Australian Manx Club gallery). Position your cursor on the picture and press the right mouse button. A menu box will pop up. Click on "properties". See below. Step 2: When you click on "Properties" a dialog box will pop up. Highlight the "Address URL" (this is the physical location of your picture) and "copy" this location. You can get to "copy" by right clicking the mouse after highlighting the URL address. See below. Step 3: Go to the Manx Club forum site and create a post. When you are at the point of inserting an image/picture in your message, press the "insert image" icon (see the little red circle - on the right - below). When you do that a dialog box will pop up. Note that the beginning of a URL location is already highlighted in the dialog box (see the little red circle - on the left - below). At this point you can right click your mouse and "paste", which will overwright the pre-populated beginning of the URL address or before you paste you can delete the pre-populated beginning of the URL address. Once you've completed your "paste" you will see the URL address (in the dialog box) of the physical location of your image/picture. Then click "OK". Your picture will appear in your post. See the two pictures below.
