Resizing pictures
Resizing pictures
How do you resize a picture without distorting it? in trying to resize my avatar picture small enough for it to be accepted it appears blurry.

Re: Resizing pictures
Mike, email me your picture (actual size) and let me see what I can do with it. If it works I'll post the instructions.manxvair wrote:How do you resize a picture without distorting it? in trying to resize my avatar picture small enough for it to be accepted it appears blurry.

Re: Resizing pictures
Also having trouble resizing. I tried downloading the photobucket app for iPad but resizing seems to be missing from the app. Regular size pics post ok.
Re: Resizing pictures
I was able to use "windows paint", already on computer. imported pic, and selected "resize" in tool bar, reduced size till it would fit. saved. Then I was able to select it for posting. Or at least that's what my kid did for me.
Re: Resizing pictures
I have a Mac, and no windows paint. I tried to resize using the edit feature in photo bucket with no success.
Re: Resizing pictures
Having to resize photos to such a small size for the avatar is a one shortcoming of this site.

Good morning Ed, we're listening!Ed-Chenal wrote:Having to resize photos to such a small size for the avatar is a one shortcoming of this site.
We've increased the maximum avatar size from 80x80 to 120x120. If any of you are having issues resizing your avatar to fit, feel free to email it to forum@manxclub.com and we'll be glad to help.
Re: Resizing pictures

Re: Resizing pictures
I was finally able create an avatar at shrinkpictures.com. Everything else I tried made me bang my head against the screen of my iPad.

Tapatalk app does it for you. You can also download an app that does it for you.
