Re: Buggy Art. What do you have, what have you done
I received this very special and thoughtful gift from two of the most caring and sharing people I have ever met in my life, and who I have come to consider more than friends. They are family and mentors to me. The scale is hard to tell but this is a 24 x 36 photograph embedded onto a wooden frame. After hours of photo editing to remove spectators from the original photograph and to match the color correctly, the poster was created and sent to the west coast for signature by the passenger in this buggy. The poster was then sent to me as a huge surprise. It arrived in a custom made wooden crate. I am forever grateful to my friends.

Lucky man Bud! An awesome gift in appreciation of you work on MOTB.
You already know but for those that haven't been so lucky as to have spent time with Bruce and Winnie, they are most definitely a special couple.
Where would we be without Bruce's tenacious inventive streak that blessed us with the Meyers Manx and Tow'd? Think of the fun we would be missing....
Looking forward to our next meeting!

Paul, you are absolutely right about Bruce and Winnie. I have been fortunate to have been able to spend time with them both at the MOTB, Big Bear, and on the Board of Directors. I would add to your comments by saying with out Bruce's buggy I (and a lot of other people) would never had made the lifelong friendships that exist in this club. That funny little car drew very different people together with a common interest.hillmotorsports wrote:Lucky man Bud! An awesome gift in appreciation of you work on MOTB.

I look forward to seeing you and Rosemarie again at another club event or trip.

I bought this at a hotrod swap meet. I like it a lot. I took this picture and I used it for the cover of my 2017 calendar.
