Rick bought a really nice original Gel Coat Emerald Green Manx from Marc F in Buffalo a couple years back. Marc sold this one to help him get the El Tejon Dealer Manx. A close local friend of his, Tom, connected Rick to me. A few years ago, I sold Tom one of the Buggies I built and Rick called me to help him out.
Here is the buggy I sold to Tom:
After we talked, and set a date to get it started and finished, I went and picked it and a lot of new parts Rick had purchased up and brought this cool buggy home.
Home and tucked in safe and sound.

Re: Rick's Emerald Green Manx Re-build and Update
So, first thing to do, take it apart and see what we have to work with. Made a big list of new parts needed, and made the run to Keith's Auto Parts in Clendenin WV to get them. Keith's Auto Parts is a all VW parts house run by Vic and Kelly, Keith's Son and Daughter-in-law.
Also installed the Meyers Sidewinder exhaust. Removed the dual cannon's.
Needs about everything chassis related.
So yesterday I made the run to Keith's Auto Parts and picked up almost everything needed to update and make the chassis safe for Rick to drive anywhere he desires. Vic and Kelly are also Manx Club Sponsors, so I try to support them as much as possible. They also perform the machine work on my engines for me.
