Manx Club's Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Manx Club's Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
A lot of discussion lately has been around the COVID 19 (Corona virus) and its effects on the upcoming Manx Club events.
UPDATED Rockin’ The River
It is with much regret that the Manx Club is Officially postponing the Laughlin Rockn' the River 3 event scheduled for March 20-22, 2020.
The recent recommendations by the CDC of canceling group gatherings of 50 or more along with concerns of those over 65 yrs of age. In addition to the increasing number of states either closing or considering closing of public businesses to reduce the exposure level is unprecedented.
Bruce and Winnie are in the high risk group and have wisely canceled. We are planning on rescheduling this event for 2021. We will consult with the Riverside Casino & RV Park to determine new dates. At this time the Riverside Hotel & RV park are still open. If you are still planning on coming to the Laughlin area this weekend you can reach out to Mark Landon or Mike Dario for trail ride ideas.
If you ordered an event t-shirt they will be shipped, the fees will be deducted from your registration and/or dinner refund. Please be patient, Lori Ann and I will be in Laughlin all week exploring the trails.
Thank You for your understanding

Manx Club’s Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Manx in the Sunshine
We are sorry to announce that due to the pandemic we have decided that it wouldn’t be prudent for Bruce and Winnie to Travel to Florida for Manx in the Sunshine. Because of this we have elected to postpone the event until March 31 through April 3 2021. You can call the hotel and move your reservations to those dates or cancel now with no cancellation fees.
This is unheard of so please be patient while we work through it.
I have spoken to few Members and we are still planning to meet and do the cruises/rides but this will be in an unofficial gathering. The Godfrey has offered a 10.00 food and beverage coupon per night per person per room for those who still plan to attend.
We request that if you have any flu or other sickness symptoms or are feeling sick or ill, you not attend this unofficial gathering.
Registration and Party on the pier Fees will be refunded via Paypal less 10.00 for shipping of the shirts. If you are still planning on attending you can pick up the shirts in person. (I can also bring the shirts to the Glen if you want to wait until that event)
The Godfrey is installing hand sanitizer stations throughout the resort, increasing cleaning protocols & crew…they are going to extra lengths to help insure the location as possible.
Should enough members still plan on attending we will still have the planned cruises.
if you have any questions please feel free to PM me or email me with any questions.
