Re: Bruce Meyers Tribute stories.
Bruce asked me what did my dune buggy mean to me. My immediate response was, "it changed my life!"
Surprised, he asked, "how has it changed your life?"
It brought my husband and I closer together as we worked side by side to build my Manxter. Once it was registered, the adventures began! We drove around the country in 2005, 2006. In 2007 we drove from CT to Bruce and Winnie's house and on to Big Bear. During our adventures we have met so many like-minded people and developed many wonderful friendships!
Bruce's vision started a journey that changed our lives as well as many others!
Bruce was a kind and unique man. We will all miss him, but he left a mark of joy, smiles, adventure and camaraderie with each of us. I will always see his smile and remember his rich stories each time I climb in to a buggy.
Tom and I love and miss you!
