Old Reds bumpers

I've seen a few photos of Old Red with some bumpers on it. What were these bumpers for?

I thought they were auxiliary fuel tanks.

Rubber bumpers for mooring at docks? :laugh1: I, too, believed them to be extra fuel tanks - they look like gas welding cylinders/oxygen bottles that may have been converted to fuel tanks? Bryan in NC

Those are oxygen Tanks that were used for extra fuel when Bruce Meyers and Ted Mangles made there famous run down the Baja :hello:
