Has anyone used the berrien sidepods? are they the same as the manxclub versions? all the same problems with mounting then i am guessing?

When I was putting together my Sister's, Berrien Nostalgia I test fitted the Berrien pods on my Manx and they fit just about the same way my Manx pods fit. As close as I can tell, they are exact duplicates to the Manx pods.

I have heard that the Berrien side pods are 1.5" taller than the Manx pods. They did that to cover the Berrien frame. Not sure if it is true or not, but a phone call will tell.

they are the same as the Manx, but the bottom is made to go under the frame to hide the nuts and bolts that hold the body on.

You know that may be right. I test fit them on my Siggy Manx and it's sitting on a Berrien Chassis so I may not have realized the difference in height.

90 Volts, I still have my Manx side pods off my buggy if you want to give them a try and hold them up to see how they fit.... Dave
