Does anyone know where one can find LED tail lights that would fit a buggy? Any supplier will be a good source since Im in the idea phase of my build. Or any other tail light ideas???
Try here. Also most truck parts places carry them. http://www.led-r-us.com/

I tried an 1157 LED bulb that had LED's on the sides too in my stock VW tail light housing. Since each LED in the bulb is in a different location, none of them are in the fixtures designed focal point as a filiment on a standard bulb would be. As a result, the reflected light was not near as bright for the LED as for the standard bulb in the same fixture (even though the LED bulb was very bright on it's own) and thus not as attention getting. I went back with regular incandescent bulbs for the VW tail lights, and put one of the LED's into a small center third brake light not much bigger than the LED itself. :2cents:
I'm plannig on buying some of these light boards for clearlaternatives.com
And then building some light assemblies that look like this
The clear smoky part is some lexan the blueish stuff is the light board and the rest is steel. I plan on turning in on a metal leath and then weling the tabs on then weld the whole thing to the engine cage. It sould look really good when I'm done. Or that's that plan atleast.

They do some cool rear lights which are made by Hella and have become quite popular over here in the uk.

Has anyone ordered anything from them, http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/. I have these tail lights that are in my buggy that have a crack in them and need a peplacement and they are the only ones that have it. They are the 12 light down in the more light section, ROUND REAR LIGHT 5.5" DIA Stop/Tail & Indicator "Hamburger" design.
If you are talking about the bulbs themselves, they can be purchased at most any truck stop at fair prices. E-bay has them by the dozen. Some are strictly one directional (facing rear) and others have wrap around leds for about 120 degree illumination and visibility. I purchased LED 39 Ford lights (24 leds) mounted on a pc board for the rear of my buggy. With these, if you purchase a stainless bezel with them, all you need is a piece of cut to fit rubber insullation, a piece of stainless sheet and tin snips. The only hole to make is the one for wires and the two hold down screws. The only drawback to the original 39 ford taillight assembly was that it took a 2 inch by 3 inch hole to accomidate the housing. Modern stuff makes it really easy on us build by the seat of your pants guys....
I know that they have the 4 inch round led tail lights that glow red at princess auto. http://www.princessauto.com/PAcountry.cfm?CTRY=CAN&INF=home
